Meeting with the High-Level Military Delegation in Djibouti Embassy Washington, dc.
Was present in the meeting:
- On the Djiboutian side H.E Mohamed Siad Douale and Defense Attaché Colonel ALI Houmed.
- On the American Side, Brigadier General Bryan M. Howay, commanding the Kentucky National Guard; Brigadier General Brian F. Wertzer Deputy commander; Colonel Joseph H. Gardner, Chief of Staff accompanied by other officers and members of the Staff.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen the partnership between the two States, particularly in the Area of Security and Defense. The two parties agreed on several priority objectives including ; Capacity Building of the Armed Forces, Securing the Borders and Military Training.
